World Environment Day was celebrated with a day long programme starting in the morning with a local school premises with tree planting and also drawing competition among school childred of the locality in the afternoon.

KVK with RKVY funding has organized training of 7 days duration to 90 farmers of Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao district. With a purpose to attract young farmer towards modern farming the training dealth with enterprises like Agriculture, animal Husbandry, Fishery and Farm Mechanisation.

200 numbers of one day old Vanaraja Chick were distributed on 07-11-2013 to 10 farm families equally collected from College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Assam Agricultural University as a part of the Demonstration on Dual Purpose Poultry Breed along with prescribed medicine and feeds.

The Seed production programme under technology showcasing, Kharif, 2013-14is undertaken covering an area of 25 ha in the district and Sali Rice variety Ranjit seed distributed to participating farmers at 2 locations.
